Why these careers?
Scientist: I think I chose this because as a scientist, you get to create things. From two chemicals, you can create a new chemical. I think another reason, was because of my friend, who introduced me to the idea of testing things with chemicals, like air and water. I was a major tree hugger at the time and wanted to save the environment. I also wanted to work with robots, and build the biggest robot ever to help the army.Robot Engineer: As I think I stated in a previous blog, I watched Robot Wars almost every day when I got home from school. This helped to fuel this desire to build a fighting robot. I also wanted to do this because robots were all over in Ripley’s Believe it or not and Guinness World Records, so I thought “How Cool!” The robot I was thinking of building had a sledge hammer with blades, of course, and a machine gun. I think this dream was lost once I realized I would need a bigger robot than was aloud to do that. Chef: I wanted to be a chef once we got Dish satellite and Food Network. I was watching Emeril Live, he was making amazing food and I just had to be like him. Once this started I would watch Food network everyday, and learned to cook a few things as well. French toast was the first and is still my favorite thing to cook.Teacher: The reason I wanted to be a teacher is because I never want to grow up and I thought being a teacher would help me accomplish that. I also wanted to teach in places where people don’t get the best education they can, so that I could help some people go to college.Psychologist: I wanted to be a psychologist because, again, I wanted to help people. Plus I watch criminal minds, and I think it would be cool to know how the mind works and be able to figure out what people are doing, just by how they act.Chef, again: Today I am deciding between chef and guitarist. I think the reasons I want to be a chef are, you get to create new things and I love to eat. I think it’s also because I want to be self employed and not working for a big multi-national corporation like my father. I want to see my children and make my own schedule not be forced to work certain hours.Guitarist: This, as well, is another career where you get to be creative and create new things. Another thing about guitar is it is calming. Sometimes when I’m playing I just get immersed in the music and can’t do anything but close my eyes and play.

Hey Dj! I like your blog it was really interesting. By reading it I realized how creative you are because many of these careers involve creativity. Also I noticed that you like to help people. If I were to play an instrument I would also play the guitar. I didn’t know that you played the guitar. Nice blog!

I agree with every word you said about playing the guitar. Go figure.
